VIDERÉ CONFERENCING HIRES TWO INDUSTRY VETERANS TO MANAGE RAPID GROWTH

SETS PLANS FOR EXPANSION INTO NEW YORK CITY

Quincy, MA.
– Videré Conferencing, New England’s leading provider of video, audio and web conferencing solutions, announced today that they have finalized plans for their expansion into New York City and hired two experienced industry veterans to help the company manage its rapid growth.

John R. Swoyer, a twenty-year networking industry veteran, has joined the company as General Manager for the New York City office. Swoyer has held sales and sales management positions with GTE, USTelecenters, VTEL, Convergent Networks, Cetacean Networks and most recently Prominence Networks.

Timothy P. Sheehan, a seven year sales veteran at Tandberg, has joined as Senior Account Manager for the New England region. While at Tandberg, Sheehan was responsible for hardware and software sales within the New England region and gained tremendous experience working with Fortune 1000 companies and C-level executives.

“Videré is at a very exciting point in its young life. We have established ourselves here in New England and we are now ready to enter new markets. What better way to do it than by brining in experienced industry veterans who can help us to grow and manage the business,” said Videré president Todd Luttinger. “John and Tim bring years of experience and contacts but most importantly, the kind of commitment to the customer we believe in so strongly here at Videré.”

New York City Expansion
Videré has quickly become New England’s leading conferencing solution provider to the healthcare, education, legal, financial and professional services industries. An increasing number of customers have offices in New York City, some having multiple city locations. In order to maintain the commitment to customer service that has set them apart from the competition, Videré felt that it was time to invest in an office located closer to their growing list of customers in New York City. Beginning in April, Videré will open an office at 100 Park Avenue in midtown Manhattan.

“We reached critical mass in New York City and it has become apparent that if we are going to maintain our hands-on, customer focused service model, we needed to be closer to the customer,” said Luttinger. “Not only will we be better able to serve our existing customers with locations in the city, it opens a whole new world in terms of new business opportunities.”
