June 28, 2006
Quincy, MA.–Videré Conferencing,
a leading provider of video, audio and web conferencing solutions, announced
today that they have expanded into the Great Lakes region including Ohio,
Pennsylvania Michigan, Indiana and Illinois. Videré also announced
that they have hired Kent Ramsay, a twenty-five year videoconferencing
and networking industry veteran, as General Manager of the Great Lakes
office.
Established in 2002, Videré has quickly become New England’s
leading conferencing solutions provider to the healthcare, education, legal,
financial and professional services industries. Videré is a full-service
organization that manages every aspect of the conferencing project, from
best practices consultation, to product selection, custom installations,
training, maintenance and support. Videré has established partnerships
with the conferencing industry’s leading suppliers in order to provide
their customers with the best solutions for their applications. Videré
is able to offer best-in-class technology tailored to meet any environment.
No other conferencing supplier has both the breadth of product offerings
and Videré’s experience to implement them.
“The key to Videré’s early success has been our hands-on,
customer focused service model and to do that properly we need to be close
to our customers,” said Videré co-founder and chief executive
Todd Luttinger. “With a well-respected industry veteran like Kent
Ramsay guiding our efforts in the Great Lakes region, we are excited and
optimistic about our ability to attract new customers and grow our existing
business.”
Ramsay has held sales and sales management positions with AT&T, Ernst
& Young, Sprint International, VTEL, and Polycom. His diverse background
includes telecommunication and conferencing sales, sales management, and
network consulting. At VTEL, as Territory Manager in Ohio, Ramsay was responsible
for the Schoolnet K12 project, which developed into one the country's largest
interactive distance learning networks. Then, as Vice President for the
Great Lakes Region, he lead the team of sales professionals and engineers
that helped VTEL consistently succeed in government, education and enterprise
videoconferencing applications.
“Videré is filling a very unique and vital need in the conferencing
industry. It is a value added reseller that is completely committed to customer
satisfaction. This simple differentiator is the most important factor in
building conferencing networks that can be "mainstreamed" in the
day-to-day operation of the business,” said Kent Ramsay, Videré’s
general manager of the Great Lakes office. “I know each of the principal
partners personally, so I know the team is highly experienced, professional,
committed, and fun to work with. I am very excited about bringing all of
these Videré Conferencing attributes to customers in the Great Lakes
area.”
In April of 2005, Videré expanded into the New York City market
opening an office at 100 Park Avenue in midtown Manhattan. In addition
to servicing existing clients with offices in the city, Videré
has added approximately 30 new customers in New York to date.
