VIDERÉ CONFERENCING CELEBRATES FOURTH ANNIVERSARY
Expansion Into New York City, Strong Customer Demand
and Revenue Growth Highlight Record Year
January 24, 2006
Quincy, MA.Videré Conferencing, New England’s leading
provider of video, audio and web conferencing solutions, announced today
that they have completed their fourth year of operations with 50 new customers
and a 30 percent increase in revenue over 2004.
Conferencing industry veterans Todd Luttinger, Bill Benoit and Steve
Cogliano self-funded the company in 2002 to fill the void in the marketplace
for a full-service organization that managed every aspect of the conferencing
project, from best practices consultation, to product selection, installation,
training, maintenance and support. To date, Videré has implemented more
than 200 conferencing projects in the Life Sciences, Education, Legal,
Financial and Professional Services industries.
Videré’s 2005 highlights include:
“Videré is clearly meeting a market need for conferencing solutions and services,” said co-founder Steve Cogliano.
“Most businesses understand the value and benefits that today’s IP-based conferencing equipment can provide, but
they don’t have the time to figure out everything from product selection to installation, training and support.
Videré handles every aspect of the project and let’s our customers focus on growing their business.”
Strong Demand from New
and Existing Customers
Videré’s customer list represents the core industries in
the Boston and New England economy. They have become a leading conferencing
solution provider to the healthcare education, legal, financial and professional
services industries. Videré continued to win new business from
existing customers such as UMASS, Massachusetts Department of Education,
Ropes and Gray, Goodwin Procter and Novartis. The company also attracted
50 new customers in 2005, including The Boston Celtics, Nuance Communications
and Casella Waste Management.
New York City Expansion in 2005
In early 2005, Videré opened a New York City office at 100 Park
Avenue in midtown Manhattan. John R. Swoyer, a twenty year networking
industry veteran, was hired as the general manager for the New York City
office. Swoyer has held sales and sales management positions with USTelecenters,
GTE, VTEL, Convergent Networks and most recently Cetacean Networks.
Videré experienced extremely strong demand from existing customers
with New York City locations and also secured many new clients including
law firms Ropes & Gray and Chadbourne Parke, New York University School
of Medicine, liquor distributor Charmer Sunbelt Group, world famous fashion
designer Elie Tahari, Adelphi University and Blue Ridge Capital, an investment
company, among others.
Partnership with LifeSize
Communications
Videré has established partnerships with the conferencing industry’s
leading suppliers in order to provide their customers with the best products
on the market today. In May, the company announced it had been selected
by LifeSize Communications as their direct regional reseller in the northeast
United States. Videré is selling, servicing and supporting LifeSize’s
suite of high definition video communications products.
“We are excited to be working with a high caliber partner like Videré,"
said Craig Malloy, chief executive officer at LifeSize Communications.
"The combination of Videré’s vision, industry experience
and superior customer service makes them an ideal partner for LifeSize.”
Building Foundation for Future
Growth
Videré added eight people to its staff this year in the areas of
sales, technical support and customer service. “As a services company,
our most valuable asset is our people,” said Todd Luttinger, Videré’s
chief executive officer. “Our success in recent years has helped
us to attract some really great people with deep experience in the conferencing
and networking industries. Their experience, insight and dedication to
the customer are the driving force behind our success.”
Videré continues to invest in the infrastructure necessary to service
their expanding client roster. In the first quarter of 2005, the company
began offering expanded service hours and Managed Services support for
mission critical customer applications. They also continued to invest
heavily in new equipment to test and support both new and legacy video
conferencing hardware. By providing the ability to test legacy equipment,
Videré customers can now fully assess their capabilities and requirements
before they make an investment in new equipment. Videré also increased
its network capacity for both ISDN and IP connectivity.
