THE BOSTON CELTICS TURN TO VIDERÉ CONFERENCING
FOR TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT AT NEW CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS

Quincy, MA. Videré Conferencing, New
England's leading provider of video, audio and web conferencing solutions,
announced today that they have completed a major project at The Boston
Celtics new corporate headquarters.
Videré is a full-service organization that manages every aspect
of the conferencing project, from best practices consultation, to product
selection, custom installations, training, maintenance and support.
Videré worked closely with the Celtics to custom design a state-of-the-art
board room as well as two additional conference rooms and several senior
executive offices. The conferencing technology used in this project is
a significant upgrade over old facility. Instead of a portable screen
and desktop projector that cluttered the conference table with wires and
distracting noise, everything is now controlled through a single customer
programmed control console, hidden from view. The room contains Plasma
and LCD displays, integrated microphone and speaker audio system and multi-media
presentation capabilities.
“Prior to this upgrade, executives limited their use of the projector
because it was so distracting with everything that was involved. What
we have today is a great enhancement to the office space,” said
Jay Wessel, senior director of technology for the Boston Celtics. “I’ve
been involved in the AV world for a number of years and Videré’s
professionalism and technology expertise were exceptional and the installation
went incredibly smooth.”
